"Absolutely the best breakfast spot around ! For 11$ and change I had a wonderful breakfast. But it came with a wonderful conversation with the owner Jeff and he even bought me the coffee ! This cafe literally is Hamilton , the history and nostalgia that Jeff imparts is like going down a historical road of the whole city . "Jet Cafe Saved Us During Covid19. They were one of the few places up and running for Delivery and we ordered a LOT! We even got deliveries to our office regularly when we went back. The Food is always Honest, HomeCooked Comfort Food. Filling Portions. Tasty. Hot. Even when Delivered. They also know how to package their food for delivery. Nothing ever falls apart or spilled. Eating in is more ‘Hole-In-The-Wall’ then Breakfast Bistro. Decor / Ambiance is an old throwback to the 80s. They have too many rugs on the floor but because the flooring is uneven it’s more for safety between the grade difference. Jet could be cleaner. But you don’t come here for the Ambiance. You come for the food. The Staff is Great. Welcoming. Smiles and Efficient Service. If you’re on a walk and haven’t had a yummy breakfast or lunch yet, then this is the place. Recommend!"

"This place is the type of place I think of when describing a locally owned dinner, it isn't fancy, it isn't done up like a hipster restaurant, it's a place you go to by yourself or with your family for affordable good food with good service and friendly people. I got the 7.99 special, Total came to $8.50 with taxes, it included 2 eggs 2 slices of rye bread 3 sausages and a massive portion of home fries that were perfectly cooked The tables are also cleaned after each customer leaves"

"You really can’t go wrong at this place for the price. As my partner and I tried this place today for the first time, a full breakfast for like $8 is a great deal. The coffee serving is huge. It is fill yourself annd you have a choice of between like 8 different coffees. The home fries were crispy and delicious. The bacon was slightly less crispy than we’d like and we didn’t realize you had to order before you sat down. But this is a place we’re coming back to again and again"

"This is my favourite restaurant in the city. Is it life changing? Nope. Is it the tastiest? Also nope. Can you get a vegetarian breakfast with rye bread and a side of tomatoes for $5.49 as of January 2025? In this economy????? Yes! Look the eggs were a little runny but that’s how I like them. The toast a bit burnt, but that’s how I like it. The home fries were salty enough to absolve me of my sins. The tomatoes didn’t cost $2 extra like the last breakfast joint I went to. The coffee cost extra and there’s no refills, but they were huge. Honestly the best bang for buck in the city. The service was also excellent - order at the counter and they bring it to ya."
